Dear Family and Friends:

As you may be aware, I am a member of The Brigadiers Winter Guard. We are a performing group that competes locally, regionally and nationally throughout the season, culminating in April at the Winter Guard International (WGI) World Championships in Dayton, OH. The Brigadiers Winter Guard is not only the premier independent program in the Syracuse Area, we are also the most successfully active one in New York State. In 2018, we received a Bronze medal in Independent Open class championships in Dayton advancing us to Independent World class competition where we will compete again in 2020 for our second season.

Throughout the course of a season, the winter guard is responsible for countless expenses for rehearsal space, travel, costuming and equipment totaling over $42,000. Most importantly, the road to championships incurs a cost of over $11,000. The members and volunteer staff work tirelessly to fundraise this exorbitant amount of money on our own. We hope you will consider sponsoring us so that we can continue our road back to WGI in the hopes of becoming a 11-Time Finalist.
